30 years of Seattle events.

I'm Reggie Tanaka. I started Northstar AV in 1994 with a 12-channel console and a borrowed PA. Thirty years later, we've run AV for more Seattle conferences, galas, and corporate events than I can count. The equipment has changed; the approach hasn't.

What we do well

Conference AV and staging. PA, projection, mics, video switching, deck, truss, drape. For events up to 1000 attendees, we run the full production in-house. We've been house AV at Bell Harbor and the UW for years and know those spaces cold.

Lighting: we partner

For theatrical lighting, we work with Lumen Loft Lighting — a Fremont lighting design shop that does moving heads, washes, and atmospheric effects. We can subcontract them directly or coordinate with a lighting house of your choice. We'll be honest if your event needs more theatrical depth than our standard AV/staging package can provide.
